Workflow Management
Role: Lead UX Designer Timeline: 2 week sprints
Software: Figma, Miro, LucidChart
Project Overview: Copywriters and specialists need a tool to manage and prioritize new catalogue items in order to complete their work faster and excel in their primary metric- “Percentage of Items listed within 24hrs of contract”. The team currently uses a combination of Email, Microsoft teams, and Excel to accomplish this task.
Workflows and Journey Mapping
The workflow, tools used, and pain points were mapped out from beginning to end, with a reasonable expectation for future scope planned for in advance.
Content Dashboard
The dashboard of this app was designed so that users can claim a working status to any applicable product listing without doubling work with their colleagues.
Claim statuses are displayed to track progress more accurately
Search filters and a personal task que help users manage their personal workflows
Item statuses allow users to see what issues listings may have to progress
Item prioritization is built in for administrators to manage special cases
Future-Proofing
Although the only use for a drill-down menu within the dashboard at the moment is to give the table enough flexibility to be able to fit the users screen, and bury the additional information under the item when the page breaks.
Allows for the easier addition of future capabilities
Gives flexibility to the item view to help adapt to inevitable future needs as the business grown
Listing Information
The listing information view allows the copy team to view all progress being made with the listing and displays access to any additional resources. Specialists can work parallel to each other and maintain confidence that they are not repeating work that their colleagues have already done.
